Congratulations to Richard Gentzkow!

Each year, the Husky 100 recognizes 100 UW undergraduate and graduate students from Bothell, Seattle, and Tacoma in all areas of study who are making the most of their time at the UW. The Husky 100 actively connect what happens inside and outside of the classroom and apply what they learn to make a difference on campus, in their communities and for the future. Through their passion, leadership and commitment, these students inspire all of us to shape our own Husky Experience.

Richard Gentzkow's work in ISS and beyond not only represents the Husky Experience but also the integrative nature of the ISS program. "My passion for examining the relationships between social, political and economic phenomena, and how those relationships affect the natural environment have led to my engagement in leadership for sustainability education and environmental justice. My future will undoubtedly include writing, business and social activism, as well as the sharing of knowledge toward the goal of replacing a system filled with entropy and asymmetry with regeneration and equity."

We're proud to see Rick's smiling face on the Husky 100 webpage!
