Congratulations to Dr. Meg Spratt, Communications and ISS Core Faculty member, on her recent promotion to Senior Lecturer! We are so fortunate to have Dr. Spratt on our team! With 30 years’ experience as a journalist and journalism educator, Dr. Sprattʼs research interests include news coverage of tragedy, media representations of race and gender, and influences of photojournalism on our perceptions of identity. She has been an integral member of our Newsletter and Curriculum Committees, and also served as a prior Chair of the ISS Diversity Committee. She teaches ISS core classes (301, 350, 355, 302, and 401) and COM/POL S 304, Press and Politics in the United States.
